Safe Systems and Insperity donate $10,000 to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
Alpharetta, Ga., Sept. 24, 2019 – Safe Systems, a national provider of fully-compliant IT and security services for community banks and credit unions, has been honored with Insperity’s Community Heroes Award in the for-profit category.
Insperity’s Community Heroes Award recognizes for-profit and non-profit companies that make a positive impact on the communities where their employees live and work. Inspired by its mission to help businesses succeed so communities prosper, Insperity nominates for-profit companies on the following criteria: entrepreneurship, innovation, job creation, and community impact.
Safe Systems is a leader in providing innovative IT and security services to community financial institutions. The company has launched 10 products/services in the last two years, preparing customers for technology and security issues/advances and ensuring audit readiness through extensive compliance expertise. As a result of this expansion into new service offerings, Safe Systems has increased its employee base by 25%, launching the careers of many recent college graduates and providing opportunities for continued growth among its long-time employees.
In addition, Safe Systems is committed to giving back to many organizations that have close connections to the company, including sponsorship of local foster care programs; fundraising events for the cancer support organization Surviving, Inc.; providing aid to veterans through its partnership with Hero Box; volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and contributing to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
As part of the Community Heroes Award, a $5,000 check was presented by Insperity as a donation to the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta on Safe Systems behalf. In celebration of this gift, Safe Systems has pledged to fully match Insperity’s contribution, bringing the total to $10,000. The check presentation was followed by a catered luncheon, and employees from Safe Systems and Insperity spent the afternoon creating care packages for ChildKind, a non-profit organization that helps families with special healthcare and developmental needs for children.
“We are honored to be recognized as one of Insperity’s community heroes for the work we’ve done for local charities in the southeastern United States,” said Danny Johnston, CEO of Safe Systems. “While Safe Systems is best known for providing IT services to community banks, we strongly believe that providing for others is a key value for every employee within Safe Systems. We are dedicated to making a positive impact on everyone we serve, and we are thankful for the opportunity to team with Insperity to help these families and their children.”
