The autumn wind is a convention. Old NFL Films references aside, the change in seasons from summer to fall does, in fact, bring with it an immediate rise in convention and professional development events throughout the banking and financial services technology industries.
This week Safe Systems will be attending three events. If you happen to be in attendance, be sure to say hello to Safe Systems’ representatives. Here’s where we’ll be:
CFO Symposium — North Carolina Bankers Association
The North Carolina Bankers Association is hosting its annual CFO Symposium Sept. 24 and 25 at the Greensboro-High Point Airport Marriott, located just outside of Greensboro. The symposium covers financial, regulatory and technical issues related to the banking industry. Sessions span the topics of Basel III, accounting and reporting to data breaches and wire fraud. It’s also Safe Systems’ first year attending what looks to be a great event for banking executives and leaders.
Community Bankers Association of Illinois Annual Convention & Exposition
For those in Illinois, the CBAI will host its 39th Annual Convention & Exposition Sept. 27 and 28 at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Springfield. With an agenda focused on topics of interest to directors and senior officers of community banks, the convention attracts hundreds of bankers from institutions across the state. The conference agenda indicates a full slate of informative sessions covering topics such as strategic planning, regulatory updates, multichannel financial marketing and more.
