Group Policy Training Class

OBJECTIVE:

To provide Network Administrators with hands-on experience working with Group Policy. At the end of the class, the attendee will have the ability to create a proper Active Directory structure that will enable them to control their users and computers in accordance with the bank’s policies and learn how to utilize some key features of Group Policy to aid in the administration of the network.

Directory including:

• The benefits of Active Directory
• The proper structure of Active Directory
• How to apply Group Policy to different users and
  computers
• How to update Group Policies
• How to create default Group Policies
• How to create custom Group Policies
• How to use Group Policy for quicker software
  installations
• Troubleshooting Group Policy

Why: Group Policy allows for simple rollout of changes to all users
and/or computers. Group Policy permits centralized software
installation for programs such as Symantec AntiVirus. Group Policy
will help make your life as a Network Administrator more efficient and
organized.
