Account Management

Safe Systems' Account Managers are comprised of banking and network experts who are knowledgeable regarding regulatory and industry issues faced by financial institutions. The Account Manager assigned to your financial institution can provide a mechanism to keep you up-to-date on technology changes and regulatory expectations and trends. Your Account Manager will also facilitate your Controlled Self Assessment process by conducting quarterly system reviews. These quarterly reviews assist you in documenting compliance with your Information Security program. In addition your Account Manager is a convenient, single point of contact between your financial institution and our company.

Your Account Manager will:

  • Work with Senior Engineers to ensure your key technical components are functioning properly and within the scope of regulatory guidance
  • Verify your bank or credit union is following examiners' expectations concerning information security, disaster recovery, business continuity, and other compliance areas
  • Ensure your institution's policies and procedures accurately represent your true functional procedures
  • Assist Management in verifying both the security and technical components of the network - make sure your network is safe and sound
  • Provide reports on server recovery testing, update LAN/WAN data configuration, key system reports, and updated system schematic
  • Assist in responding to examiners' questionnaires
  • Utilizing a series of detailed checklists, Safe Systems evaluates a number of variables. Our on-site and remote reviews allow our staff to fully understand your configuration which allows our recommendations, responses, and actions to be aligned with your bank or credit union.
  • Periodically conducting quarterly system reviews (both Annual and Quarterly System Reviews)
  • Assists in strategic planning
  • Help prepare for IT-based audits and exams
  • Attend technology committee meetings
  • Document compliance with your Information Security program and assist with your Controlled Self Assessment process with quarterly system reviews
