Safe Systems’ Chief Technology Officer Brendan McGowan Named to Georgia Southern University’s 2016 40 Under 40 List


Alpharetta, Ga., Oct. 4, 2016 – Safe Systems, a national provider of fully-compliant IT and security services for community banks and credit unions, today announced that chief technology officer, Brendan McGowan, was recently named to Georgia Southern University’s 2016 40 Under 40 List. The listing highlights 40 professionals who represent the best young leaders under the age of 40.

This honor is presented by the Georgia Southern University Alumni Association and recognizes young alumni who are leading the way in business, leadership, community, educational and/or philanthropic endeavors. The 40 honorees were chosen based on their professional expertise and achievements, as well as dedication to charitable and community initiatives.

Brendan McGowan graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems. He began his career at Safe Systems as a network analyst and moved up in the company to assume the position of chief technology officer. In this role, McGowan oversees the development of strategic technology solutions that support key banking initiatives for community banks and credit unions and enhance their ability to manage IT in an effective and compliant manner.
